OAKLAND – He may not have gotten an assist in the stat sheet for this one, but we think it was worth at least two.
Early in the first quarter Klay Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins ran a pick-and-roll against the visiting Miami Heat. Thompson dumped the ball down to the rolling Cousins, but the ball bounced off the back of his head and fell to an open spot on the court.
Thompson saw what happened, scooped up the ball and calmly knocked down a mid-range jumper.
But the best part of the play might have happened after the shot fell. Once it did, both Klay Thompson and DeMarcus cousins ran back down the court with one hand raised in the air as if they had drawn up the entire play from the start.

Heady play by the pair.
