Over the weekend, Jimmy Fallon secretly told Stephen Curry to slip three random phrases into his All-Star interviews. Those phrases were: energizer bunny, flippin’ pancakes, and Wham bam can of ham.
Sure enough, Curry incorporated those three phrases in a hilarious series of interviews, which were later aired during the Fallon Show earlier this week. Curry played it off like a pro, contained his laughter, and found the right places to drop the phrases.
Here’s the execution:
“By the time I got here Thursday morning until now, trying to get in as much in as I can, try to be that energizer bunny, fight this fatigue.”
“Ever since I touched down on the ground Thursday morning, I feel like i have been running crazy. I have to be the energizer bunny this weekend, trying to get through it all.”
“We have been having these back-and-forth competitions since we were kids, since we were flippin’ pancakes as youngin’s in Charlotte.”
“From the time I picked up a basketball, I knew shooting was like second nature, like flippin’ pancakes.”
“That last one, it just looked good from the time it left the hand. I was like, ‘Wham bam can of ham, that’s going in.’”
“Wham bam can of ham, I’m out!”
