Monday’s first quarter was a throwback for a couple reasons. First, Andrew Bogut took the floor as the team’s starting center for the first time since the 2016 Finals. Second, it concluded with a Stephen Curry 3/4-court buzzer-beater, something Curry made a habit of during Bogut’s original tenure.
The shot was part of an ironic end of the quarter for Curry, who missed a number of open shots in the frame (3-of-9) before making an acrobatic and-one layup and the wild buzzer beater in quick succession.
The 60-footer was Curry’s 4th career FG from 50+ feet according to ESPN Stats & Info.
