We saw this one coming. After trash talking for nearly the entire game, both Kevin Durant and Patrick Beverly were ejected in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s Western Conference first-round opener.
The two were finally tossed after scrapping for a loose ball that ultimately went out of bounds. Once it did, Durant, likely knowing he’d be ejected for doing so, couldn’t help but stand over Beverley and laugh. Beverley sprung up and got in KD’s face immediately. The two were issued double second technicals, having both been issued their first technicals just moments before.

Durant got the best of Beverely, who guarded KD from the jump. Durant finished with 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting, while Beverley finished with 3 points on 1-of-6 shooting.
