Yasiel Puig goes yard off Clayton Kershaw in return to Dodger Stadium

Yasiel Puig is back in Los Angeles, and it didn’t take much time for him to make some noise.

In his first at-bat in his old ballpark after joining the Reds this offseason, Puig sent one into the seats at Dodger Stadium. Additionally, Puig hit the home run, his first of the season, off former teammate Clayton Kershaw, who was making his season debut.

In typical Puig fashion, the home run came with a bat flip.

Puig has gotten off to an extremely slow start with the Reds, posting an average of .162 and an OPS of .502 in 12 games. The Giants will face Puig for the first time this season on May 3 when they visit Cincinnati for a four-game series.
