Will Smith got credited with the save in the Giants’ 3-2 win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday, but it should probably go to Brandon Crawford. With the game tied at 2 in the bottom of the ninth inning and the winning run on third base, Crawford made a game-saving diving stop and throw to first on an Adam Jones ground ball.
The play sent the game into extra innings, where the red-hot Pablo Sandoval promptly gave the Giants the lead with a solo home run, his fourth in six games.
That Pablo Sandoval is so hot right now. #SFGiants pic.twitter.com/tksXXfIjKK

The Giants have now won two and a row, and head back home for a four-game series vs. the Atlanta Braves.
