Kyle Shanahan gives taste of complex 49ers offense by reciting longest play call

You got all that?

As if dodging 300 lb. lineman and trying to accurately throw to some of the fastest athletes in the world wasn’t hard enough for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, we now know he has to be a whiz with the play-sheet.

In an interview with Fox Sports analyst Mark Schlereth, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan gave him, as well as the rest of 49ers faithful, a taste of what Jimmy G has to spit out every time he’s in the huddle.

“Y-short to strong-right clamp Ace; H 2-Y Bingo X comeback; cannon with roll-right B shallow on two”

In 2019, the 49ers will look to climb back to relevancy in the NFC, and while their success on the field has yet to be determined, at least 49ers fans know that Kyle Shanahan certainly doesn’t have shortage of plays to get the job done.

I wonder if “Change left-slot – sprint right option” will get worked into any of the scripts this season.
