The back-end of the Warriors roster is starting to take shape. Starved for wing help with the departure of Andre Iguodala and Klay Thompson’s ACL injury, the Warriors have signed Glenn Robinson III according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Free agent Glenn Robinson has agreed to a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, with a second-year player option, agent Jelani Floyd of @beyond_am tells The Athletic and Stadium.

Robinson, 25, was selected with the 40th overall pick in 2014 by the Minnesota Timberwolves, and has spent time with the Sixers, Pacers, and Pistons over the past five seasons. After starting 27 games in 2016-17 with the Pacers, Robinson has seen his playing decrease over the past two years, appearing in just 18 games in his first and only season in Detroit last year.
At his best, Robinson (6-foot-6, 222 lbs) will provide the Warriors with 3-point shooting (39.6 percent from deep from 2016-2018), and solid defense. Robinson is also a phenomenal athlete, winning the NBA Slam Dunk contest in 2017.
The Warriors don’t have another small forward on their roster, and it’s possible that Robinson could begin the season as a starter at that position, at least until Thompson re-enters the fold. With Robinson, nine of the 13 players on the Warriors roster are 25 years old or younger.
