Well that didn’t last long. Any hope that Warriors fans had of Jimmer Fredette making the opening day roster have been squashed, amidst a report from Mark Medina of the Bay Area News Group that the sharp-shooting guard has left Golden State’s Summer League team after just two games. He will not join the team in Las Vegas.
Jimmer Fredette left the Warriors’ summer league team and won’t be with team in Las Vegas. He played in the first two games before leaving. Unclear what’s next for him, but could be evaluating other options

Fredette, 30, is mulling overseas options according to Medina, and didn’t want to risk injury by playing in any additional games with the Warriors. Fredette is coming off three standout seasons for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association, and was named as the league’s MVP in 2017.
Fredette struggled in his two Summer League games with the Warriors, going 1-for-7 from 3-point range while forcing a number of shots and remaining a liability at the defensive end. Fredette appeared in six games for the Suns last year, his first NBA action since the 2015-16 season when he played six combined games for the Pelicans and Knicks.
