There are plenty of moving parts as a result of the sign-and-trade deal sending Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets and D’Angelo Russell to the Golden State Warriors. As part of that trade, the Warriors acquired Treveon Graham and Shabazz Napier from the Nets, while sending Durant and a first-round pick to the Nets.
As a result of the trade, and the Warriors’ necessity to clear room under the apron, they immediately moved Napier and Graham, along with cash considerations to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In exchange, the Warriors received the draft rights to Lior Eliyahu from the Timberwolves.

Eliyahu is a 33-year-old two-time MVP (2012, 2015) in the Israeli Premier League, and won six championships (four with Maccabi Tel Aviv – 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, two with Hapoel Jerusalem). In his one season with Caja Laboral in Spain in 2010, Eliyahu and Cajaj Laboral won the Spanish League. He was originally drafted by the Orlando Magic in 2006 with the 44th overall pick in the second round.
