Another game vs. the Mets, another walk-off win. The San Francisco Giants took their third game of the four-game series on Sunday, via an impressive opposite field home run by Mike Yastrzemski in the bottom of the 12th inning. The Giants won all three games of the series in extra innings.
The Giants got the win despite squandering a massive opportunity in the bottom of the 11th, failing to score despite having two men on base with no outs. The win continues San Francisco’s magical stretch. They have now won 15 of their last 18 games, and sit two games out of the final NL Wild Card spot with a 50-50 record.
