Antonio Brown is going to keep playing football. That wasn’t a certainty just a few days ago, when the All-Pro receiver was reportedly mulling retirement after being barred by the NFL for wearing a helmet that he’s worn for the previous 10 years. That particular helmet no longer fulfills the safety requirements set by the league, but after an independent arbitrator ruled against Brown being able to wear the helmet, the receiver has decided to report back to the team on Tuesday.

That doesn’t mean he’s given up his mission to wear a new helmet, however. Brown took to Twitter on Tuesday morning and offered a signed practice worn helmet to anyone who can find him a Schutt Air Advantage Adult Large Helmet that was manufactured in 2010 or after. Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus said they have located some and that it was just a matter of getting one of those reconditioned and re-certified.

“So, it’s all reasonable,” Rosenhaus told ESPN. “I mean, it’s all very plausible.

Brown, who the Raiders acquired by sending the Steelers a 3rd and 5th round draft pick this offseason, has also been sidelined with a bizarre case of frostbite on his feet, sustained during a cryotherapy mishap in France last month. The 31-year-old is set to make $50.125 million over the next three seasons.
