“Hard Knocks” might be over, but the Antonio Brown drama is not.

A day after the show’s finale and less than a week before the team’s regular season opener, Brown posted a picture on Instagram of a letter he was issued by Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock, detailing multiple fines that the enigmatic receiver owes due to unexcused absences from team activities.

Brown posted the photo with the following message: “When your own team want to hate but there’s no stopping me now devil is a lie. Everyone got to pay this year so we clear”. He also tagged the Raiders in the post.

The total amount of fines in the letter above totals $54,000 and Mayock stipulates that should Brown continue to miss mandatory team activities, including practices and games, the Raiders reserve the right to impose additional fines and discipline.

Brown’s message continues one of the most bizarre preseasons from a star player in recent memory. Brown missed all of the preseason with a combination of frostbitten feet and helmet issues. The seven-time Pro Bowler reportedly at one point considering walking away from football after being informed he could no longer wear his now out of date helmet.

The incidents led Mayock to issue Brown an ultimatum on Aug. 18: “It’s time for him to be all-in or all-out, OK?”

Based on Wednesday’s post, it would seem Brown is still somewhere in the middle.
