ESPN gets exclusive look at Warriors’ new locker room, practice facility

Stephen Curry gave ESPN an exclusive tour of the Warriors new training facility and locker room at the Chase Center in a video that dropped Wednesday.

The previously under-wraps facility named the Biofreeze Center, is where the team will practice, a welcome change from the days at Oracle Arena where the team’s practice facility was located elsewhere in downtown Oakland.

The new facility is quite impressive. The practice courts have facial recognition technology running at all times, meaning individual players can go back and look at their shot charts after shootaround.

The locker room is perhaps the most notable from an aesthetic standpoint, circular in shape and with a roof that mirrors the old roof design at Oracle.

Other elements include a hydrotherapy center, sauna, and a player’s only bar with Kombucha on tap.

The Chase Center cost a reported $1.2 billion to build, and it would appear that Joe Lacob and Co. got what they paid for.
