Jake Peavy was once on Willie Nelson’s tour bus with Bruce Bochy. What happened on that bus, Peavy would not reveal, well other than former third-base coach Tim Flannery passing him “something.”
Peavy told the story during his speech at Bruce Bochy’s postgame tribute on Sunday. He was asked about it again postgame by Amy Gutierrez, who tried to prompt for the former Giants pitcher for more details, specifically about Bochy.
Peavy again kept his cards close to the vest, but did imply that he and Tim Lincecum might have some plans in store for later.
“I can tell you this: Timmy Lincecum’s in town, and we may be onto something in here a little bit later, now that Boch is free of these drug tests from the San Francisco Giants.”
I think we speak for everyone when we say, please, please make sure this happens Jake.
