The Giants’ search for their next manager is starting with a Bam.

Hensley “Bam Bam” Meulens is set for an interview this week, according to NBC Sports, representing the first known candidate to succeed Bruce Bochy.

Meulens has been with the organization since 2010, a part of three World Series, and the bench coach for the last two seasons.

Meulens, 52, has been a managerial candidate for a while, reportedly finishing second in the competition when the Yankees picked Aaron Boone. He speaks five languages, is popular in the clubhouse and has about as much experience as possible.

Farhan Zaidi will speak publicly later Tuesday, when we will have a better idea of how lengthy and extensive the Giants’ search will be.
