The 49ers made their most emphatic statement yet under the lights on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium.

Entering as a field goal favorite, San Francisco smashed the Green Bay Packers 37-8 in a game where Aaron Rodgers threw for just 104 yards. It was the first of three massive tests for the 49ers, who face the Ravens in Baltimore next week (8-2) and the Saints in New Orleans (8-2) a week after that.

Speaking of that Ravens matchup, the 49ers have opened as 4.5 point underdogs in Las Vegas according to SportsLine. The line is somewhat surprising, considering teams considered even are usually given a field goal edge due to home field advantage. A standard read of the line would be that the oddsmakers rate Baltimore as a slightly better team on a neutral field.

The Ravens are the hottest team in the NFL right now, currently riding a six game winning streak heading into their Monday night matchup in Los Angeles vs. the Rams. The Ravens point differential of plus-145 is good for third in the NFL behind the Patriots (plus-183) and 49ers (plus-169).
