Well, the sideline at least.
The injured Warriors star will trade in the ball for a mic and make his debut as a sideline reporter for Wednesday’s Chase Center matchup against the Bulls.
NBC Sports Bay Area’s “Warriors Pregame Live” just got some significant starpower.
Greg Papa announced the news before Monday’s game against the Thunder, stating Thompson would serve throughout the second quarter as the network’s intrepid newshound. If anyone can pry insider information out of Steve Kerr, it’s Thompson. If anyone can make a Thanksgiving Eve game between the reeling Warriors and 6-12 Bulls palatable, perhaps it’s Thompson.
