Already this offseason, the NFL has raided more than a dozen collegiate coaching staffs of not only their head coaches but of top assistants as well.

As expected, the big boy football league is not quite done with their feeder system on the coaching front.

The New Orleans Saints confirmed multiple reports that had popped up just a couple of hours ago, announcing that the club has hired Wesley McGriff as its secondary coach.  McGriff spent just one season with the Rebels, serving as both the cornerbacks coach as well as co-defensive coordinator.

McGriff, who served as the primary recruiter in the Rebels' successful pursuit of consensus No. 1 2013 prospect Robert Nkemdiche, was hired in early January of last year.  The school, as of yet, has not addressed the sudden vacancy on Hugh Freeze's staff.

McGriff is the second college coach hired by the Saints in the past 10 days.  Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Dan Roushar would be leaving his post as Michigan State's offensive coordinator to become New Orleans' running backs coach.  The Spartans are still searching for a replacement.

Additionally, the Saints pursued Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, going so far as interviewing Mark Richt's assistant before it was announced Grantham would return to Athens.
