The Bears announced Thursday morning they have signed tight end Steve Maneri to a two-year contract.

Maneri, 6-foot-7, 280 pounds, has appeared in 19 games with nine starts over two seasons with the Chiefs after entering the NFL with the Texans in 2010 as an undrafted free agent.
