The San Francisco 49ers recently made it clear that they won't be bringing wide receiver Randy Moss back for the 2013 season. While he won't
rejoin the 49ers, Moss does believe he can still play at a high level and could
be an option for a contender.
Moss spoke with teammates and said he still feels he can
contribute at a high level in the NFL. He's not sure what his immediate future
holds, but one of his teammates told CBS Sports that he feels the veteran wants
to continue his playing career.
"I think Randy wants to play again," one 49ers
player told CBSSports.com. "I'm just not sure he wants to go to another
team and have to learn another system."
Most 49ers players believe Moss will play one more season
for a Super Bowl contender. If he's unable to reach such a deal, he could
retire once again. While there's a lot of speculation going around, no one
knows what Moss is going to do at this point except for the wide receiver
himself.
