Tim Lincecum is working his way back from the fall he took last year. -No this was not a physical fall. -Lincecum fell from dominant starter, to reliever, to spot starter last season. -He was still able to contribute to the San Francisco Giants' World Series victory, but he wants to be a starter full time. -This spring will give him the opportunity to prove he can still do that. -However, he has been hampered by a blister.
Pitchers and blister have a long history. -The seemingly minor injury can sometime sideline pitchers for weeks. -Luckily, that does not seem to be the case with Lincecum.
Lincecum (blister) says he's "working toward" starting Thursday. #sfgiants.
