SF Giants Rumors: Tim Lincecum Spring Debut, Hunter Pence Flexes Chest, Brett Pill Show
6:38AM Tuesday
March 5, 2013

Yesterday the San Francisco Giants sent Tim Lincecum to the mound, and it was the first time he faced live hitters since the World Series. Lincecum allowed three runs, but told manager Bruce Bochy that he was happy with his outing. Bochy was also satisfied, says Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle.

"I think Timmy threw the ball well," Bochy said. "He had a good rhythm. Pitching out of the stretch, he looked comfortable. He had good stuff today. Obviously, he got out of sync last year. He knows it. He worked hard cleaning it up a little bit."

Alex Pavlovic of the San Jose Mercury News says before the Giants took a bus to Glendale yesterday, they had BP at Scottsdale Stadium. Outfielder Hunter Pence was swinging out of his shoelaces, and launched one out of the stadium in his final swing.

I think Pence is going to have a much better year for the Giants in 2013. He's already found his comfort zone, and I'm sure is motivated since it's also contract year for him.
