Based on Attorney Ivan W. Golde's background, experience and reputation, he is considered a leading national expert in the areas of professional sport, the law, criminology, and sociology within the world of professional and college sports.

Golde also lectures to professional clubs about legal issues and obstacles facing professional athletes in today's society.  He also give similar lectures to college teams on similar social and legal issues facing today's student athlete.

Golde was a full-time employee of the Oakland Raiders football club for three seasons and worked within all levels of the organization, in particular as an assistant to the Director of Football Operations.

Through these contacts, experience, associations and friendships, Golde has continued to represent and counsel many current and former NFL players, coaches and staff in a variety of contexts and in a variety of various criminal and civil cases.

Golde also represents major league baseball players in a variety of legal contexts, such as former Oakland A's great Rickey Henderson, as well as NBA players such as Golden State Warriors legend and Hall of Famer Rick Barry.

Golde's background and expertise also allows him the opportunity to comment nationally on various television and radio networks on high profile athletes in the news such as Tiger Woods, Michael Vick, O.J.
