OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS FOR THE
2008 KRAGEN GRAND SLAM INNING

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  Promotion void where prohibited or restricted by law.  All federal, state and local laws apply.  Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years or older.  CSK Auto, Inc. ("CSK") D/B/A Kragen Auto Parts, the San Francisco Giants (“Giants”), KNBR-AM-AM, Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, Cumulus Media Partners, LLC, and their parent companies, dealers, advertising agencies, participating vendors, agents, affiliates, sponsors, and their employees and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
  1. To enter the promotion either: (i) obtain an official entry form while supplies last at participating Kragen Auto Parts Stores and mail such official entry form to the address set forth below; (ii)print an entry form on the Giants webpage at www.knbr.com beginning Friday, March 30th and mail to KNBR-AM; or (iii) mail a 3 x 5 handwritten postcard that includes the contestant’s name, address and daytime telephone phone number and age to Kragen Grand Slam Inning, KNBR 680, 55 Hawthorne, Suite 1100, San Francisco, CA 94105.  Entries by mail shall be limited to one entry per envelope, per family, per day.  No mechanical reproductions or computer generated entries permitted. Entries remain valid for the entire 2008 season.  All entries must be received by September 20, 2008, to be eligible for the final drawings.  All entries become property of KNBR-AM. Any entry form that is not completely filled out shall be invalid and shall not be eligible for such contest.  Furthermore, CSK, the Giants and KNBR-AM are not responsible for any late, illegible, lost, stolen or misdirected mail or entries.
  1. A “Designated Contestant” will be announced during each regular season broadcast of San Francisco Giants Baseball for the 2008 season.  Designated Contestants will be selected in the following manner: A name will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received at the time of each drawing.  Entries remain valid for the entire 2008 season.  Each name drawn, subject to verification, will become a Designated Contestant.  Each Designated Contestant will be announced at the beginning of the Giants fifth inning on KNBR-AM.   If a member of the Giants hits a home run in the fifth (5th) inning of the Designated Contestant’s specified game, that Designated Contestant will win a Giants Jacket (approximate retail value $85).  If a member of the Giants hits a grand slam home run in the fifth (5th) inning of the Designated Contestant’s specified game, that Designated Contestant will win a $10,000 cash prize.  If the Giants hit more than one (1) home run or grand slam home run in the same fifth (5th) inning, no additional prizes will be awarded. The game in which the Giants hit a Grand Slam must be an official game.  If the game in which a Grand Slam occurs in the fifth inning is cancelled for any reason prior to becoming an official game, all statistics are removed from the official score book and the Grand Slam prize money will not be awarded. If no home run is hit during the fifth inning, the Designated Contestant will receive a Giants cap for being drawn.
  1. Odds of being selected a Designated Contestant are dependent on number of eligible entrants.  Upon qualification, pursuant to paragraph 3 above, the Designated Contestant will be deemed the winner ("Winner") and notified by phone. Only one (1) Winner per household will be allowed during the 2008 San Francisco Giants season.  The Secondary Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Winner agrees to sign and completely fill out and return to the address stated above in Paragraph 2, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release Agreement and an IRS W-9 form within fourteen (14) days from receipt thereof.  Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification and the Prize will be forfeited.  The Prize recipient is responsible for all state and federal taxes in relation to any Prize and any other incidental expenses related thereto.  By claiming the Prize, Winner, his/her executor, representative, administrator, and next of kin, releases CSK, the Giants and  KNBR-AM-AM, Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, Cumulus Media Partners, LLC, and any participating sponsors from any liability, injuries, damages, losses, claims and the like caused by the Prize or resulting from the acceptance of the Prize.  Acceptance of the Prize shall constitute the Winner's agreement and consent that CSK, the Giants and/or KNBR-AM may use the Winner's name, address, or likeness, and/or prize information without limitation of promotional purpose without further consideration or payment.
  2. To obtain the names of the Winners, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Kragen Grand Slam Inning Winners, KNBR 680, 55 Hawthorne, Suite 1100, San Francisco, CA 94105.  Winners of jackets and $10,000 cash awards will also be listed on the Kragen Grand Slam Inning page at www.knbr.com.  CSK, the Giants and KNBR-AM reserve the right to change the rules, prizes and/or discontinue contest at any time without prior notice.  By participating, all entrants acknowledge and agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and these rules and regulations. Contest to be judged by the Marketing Department of KNBR-AM. All decisions of the judges are final.
