We have incorporated a Free-Flow Autograph system that will allow fans to get in line as many times as they wish throughout the day to collect autographs.

After surveying Giants fans and consulting with other professional sports teams, we decided that the best way to handle the autograph policy for 2007 would be to incorporate Free-Flow Autograph lines that will continuously move throughout the day with players coming and going in staggered shifts.

In order to avoid the problems we have faced in the past, tickets for designated autograph sessions will not be issued.

Past, Present, and Future Giants will come and go from the autograph tables from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and fans wishing to collect as many autographs as possible are welcome to re-enter the line as often as they like.

Unlike previous years, both lines will flow freely without a numbered ticket system or published schedule. Fans waiting in the autograph lines should understand that the players signing may change while they are in line and that we can not guarantee that each fan will be able to get the autographs they want.

Four autograph locations (two locations on the Promenade Level & two on the Club Level) with multiple Giants signing at each location will be open from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

We ask that fans in line respect their fellow fans and adhere to the directions of the KNBR/Giants volunteers responsible for moving the lines along, and maintaining order and safety at the event.

Why this new autography policy?
In previous years, we issued a limited number of tickets for each autograph session and often had to turn fans away when the tickets ran out. We have decided that rather than limit our fans through the distribution of tickets, we would give all fans the opportunity to get in a line, and determine for themselves how long they choose to wait for an autograph.

This year the only restriction will be that signing will occur between 11:15 and 3:00 p.m., so if a fan chooses to spend the entire Fan Fest in line trying to get an autograph, they have that choice.

We appreciate our fans' passion for collecting autographs, but do not want the autograph portion of the event to dominate the day and cause fans disappointment and grief on what should otherwise be an enjoyable celebration of the upcoming season.

The KNBR/Giants Winter FanFest is not meant to serve primarily as an autograph show, but rather as an enjoyable celebration of the start of the Baseball Season.
