Every weekday afternoon, KNBR680 brings their audience the popular duo of Bob Fitzgerald and Rod Brooks . Listeners tune in to the popular mid-day show to hear witty sports talk, interviews with popular sports players, coaches, and writers, as well as common banter between the two personalities- including the ever popular “Football Picks” competition during football season.

Rod “The Rodfather” Brooks, brings his daily low down on sports with passion and energy, from noon to three on The Sports Leader. Rod Brooks, a native of Houston Texas, attended Louisiana State University where received his Broadcast Journalism degree. In 1997 Brooks joined the lineup of KNBR1050 as a co-host of the morning show. In 2002 Brooks hosted his own four-hour afternoon drive show and in 2004 teamed up with Warrior great Rick Barry to co-host the Rick Barry and Rod Brooks Show.

As the play-by-play face and voice of the Golden State Warriors, Bob Fitzgerald brings an array of knowledge and experience to the KNBR team. Entering his 17th season with the Warriors, Fitzgerald continues to be one of the most recognizable and familiar sports voices in the Bay Area. Fitzgerald was also recognized as the play-by-play announcer for the 2012 Olympics (Men's and Women's Basketball- NBC Sports National Broadcaster), the 2008 Olympics (Team USA Men’s and Women’s Water Polo), the 2004 Olympics (Team USA Men’s and Woman’s Basketball), and the 1996 Summer Olympics (Swimming). Fitzgerald’s talent and professionalism has been recognized nationally with two Emmy nominations for “Best on Camera” as well as receiving six nominations, and winning two Emmy’s, for “Best Live Sports Broadcast” with the rest of the Warriors broadcast team.
