Ted Ramey has spent his entire life on the inside of the Bay Area sports scene, as his sports broadcaster father always brought him along to games and broadcasts. Young Ted worked as a spotter, conducting postgame interviews, and aiding his dad’s broadcasts in any way possible. Ted began working for KNBR in 2009 on the Giants Postgame show, and shortly thereafter began doing stringer/reporting work for ESPN Radio and AP. Ted became the morning sports anchor on KNBR 1050 in 2012, and took over the hosting duties of the 12 pm to 3 pm timeslot in early 2014. Ramey also serves as the radio play by play voice for the San Jose Earthquakes.
