Brando has also worked as a television analyst for Turner Sports/NBA, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Hawks, a CBS Television commentator on The Road to the Final Four, College Football Today and, of course, now with Sporting News Radio as host of The Tim Brando Show!

Q: Favorite childhood fantasy?
To one day be in the booth calling NFL or College football, Major League Baseball, NCAA Basketball and hosting a national radio show. Yes?my dream came true!

Q: Best interview?
A: Bear Bryant -- As a young sportscaster in the South, it was quite a moment interviewing the legendary coach.

Q: Most embarrassing blooper?
A: I had an out-of-body experience signing off of a telecast of a Vanderbilt basketball. We were in overtime, and Bill Raftery and I were being hurried off the air by our Producer. My last words were, "For Tim Brando, I'm Bill Raftery. So long from Music City."

Q: Life interests?
A: I love being a husband and father of two beautiful girls. I love being a Sportscaster, and I occasionally play golf well enough to want to play more!

A: Audacious, informed and caring.

A: It's easy to be a dreamer, but working hard to make those dreams come true is what life is all about!
