Warriors select Jacob Evans with No. 28 overall pick

The Warriors selected a two-way wing in the first round of the NBA Draft on Thursday, taking Cincinnati’s Jacob Evans with the 28th overall pick. Evans fits the mold of the long-armed athletic type that general manager Bob Myers has coveted over the years. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard has a 6-foot-9 wingspan and projects as a good defender at the NBA level.
