Not many players or teams had the Warriors’ number last season, but Andre Iguodala does remember one mystery baller who repeatedly went off against the Dubs in 2015-16.

Iguodala joined NYC-based 105.1’s The Breakfast Club morning radio show on Thursday, and he talked about how the league’s 29 other teams give Golden State their best effort every game. To illustrate his point, Iguodala described one player in particular who played unusually well against his Dubs.

“This one guy killed us every time we played him… He killed us, he had like 20 on us. But he was terrible the other 78 games, you know what I mean?” Iguodala said.

After some laughing and prodding from the show hosts to divulge more information about the mystery player, Iguodala did give some hints, but refused to give many specifics.

“It was in the West cause we played him four times.. He won’t know, nobody’ll know,” Iguodala said coyly.

Check out Iguodala’s comments below, at the 7-minute mark of the video.

Iguodala’s comment had us intrigued, so we sought out some players who delivered abnormally strong performances against the Warriors to see if we could find out who Iggy was referencing.
