Two-time NBA champion Brent Barry joined Murph & Mac to discuss what the Warriors will be dealing with throughout the season. Barry believes that last season’s experiences in the playoffs will help Golden State as they try to win another championship.

“It really helps Steph and Klay and Draymond and the guys returning who are obviously going to be huge parts of what this season represents understand the fragility of what it means to win a championship,” Barry said.

Head coach Steve Kerr will have to navigate through an adjustment period after the departures of  Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli, Harrison Barnes among others. Barry discussed how the early part of the season will be key for the Warriors. “The early part of the season is very important for Coach Kerr to establish some habits with these guys,” Barry said.

It is obviously pretty safe to assume that Golden State will win plenty of games in the regular season. However, this team will only be judged by what happens in the postseason, and whether they can manage to bring home another NBA title in June.
