Khalil Mack on MVP chants: ‘Was Steph Curry in the crowd?’

It’s not new news: Khalil Mack is tearing up the second half of the NFL season.

So much so, his name has been added to the slightly premature discussion of who should be the NFL’s MVP this season, doubling the total of possible candidates on the Raiders as Derek Carr’s name has been on the list as long as anyone else.

As it stands, the widely accepted four favorites to compete for the award are Carr, both Cowboys Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot, and the ageless Tom Brady.

Mack, however, has inserted himself firmly into the discussion with consistent monster performances over the team’s last 5 games, racking up seven sacks and four forced fumbles, the latter good for most in the NFL and a Raiders’ franchise record.
