Warriors All-Star Klay Thompson has left agent Billy Duffy for Greg Lawrence of Wasserman Media Group according to Liz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal. Duffy confirmed the news to CSN Bay Area’s Monte Poole.

Wasserman had been representing Thompson’s off the court ventures but will now take over the on court duties too. The 27-year-old Thompson signed a four-year, $69 million contract that will expire following the 2019 season according to Spotrac.com.

On the season, Thompson is averaging 21.8 points per game and was selected for his third straight All-Star appearance next weekend in New Orleans.

Wasserman also represents Draymond Green and JaVale McGee. Duffy represents dozens of other NBA players including Andrew Wiggins, Joakim Noah and Warriors rookie Patrick McCaw.
