Frandsen: Bonds’ arrival will benefit Jarrett Parker the most

The Giants announced Tuesday morning that former outfielder and Miami Marlins hitting coach Barry Bonds will be joining the organization as a special advisor to CEO Larry Baer. The MLB’s all-time leader in career home runs previously was brought in for a brief stint as a spring training instructor with the Giants in 2014. Bonds has become a teacher of young hitters and worked extensively with Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton during his one-season spell in Miami.

Former Giant and co-host of KNBR 1050’s The Audible Kevin Frandsen visited the Digital Lounge to share why he feels the player who will benefit the most from the hiring of Bonds is outfielder Jarrett Parker, who many project will be the team’s starting left fielder this season.
