Sacramento River Cats reliever Jose Dominguez received a 142-day suspension without pay by Major League Baseball Thursday, after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol, the league announced. The failed test is Dominguez’ second since entering the league in 2013.

Dominguez is the third Giants minor leaguer to receive a suspension for a positive test in as many days. On Tuesday, catchers Ty Ross and Cody Brickhouse each received 50-game suspensions for their second failed drug test for an un-named banned substance.

Dominguez, 26, is coming off a rough 2016 with the Padres, where he racked up a 5.05 ERA in 34 appearances. Dominguez has a 4.82 career ERA since 2013, also playing for the Dodgers and Rays. This is his first year in the Giants’ minor-league system.

There have been 20 suspensions this year under the minor-league drug program.
