The Oakland Raiders are looking for a power rusher to add to their 2017 roster, and Marshawn Lynch has been looking like a viable option. However, with the NFL Draft quickly approaching, the Raiders need to make a decision soon as to whether they’ll kick the tires on the vet.

An Oakland native, Lynch has stated he’s sparked interest in returning from retirement if it means playing for his home team… but the Raiders must still settle trade disputes with the Seattle Seahawks before signing a deal with Lynch.

Drew Hoffar from The Audible joined us in the KNBR Digital Lounge to discuss the options for Marshawn Lynch and offer his two cents on the likeliness of Oakland welcoming him onto the field. There are still lots of questions up in the air regarding Marshawn’s leverage: How good is he going to be? Is he in football shape? Where will he fit into the Raiders’ offense?

In recent years, the Raiders have solidified picks in the draft before looking toward free agency, which has worked in cases like adding Derek Carr and Khalil Mack to the team. It will be interesting to see what GM Reggie McKenzie’s tactics are this year, and whether or not things will work out with Lynch.
