Giants patience pays off

By

San Francisco – Sunday, Giants with knuckle baller R.A. Dickey on the mound the Giants skipper Bruce Bochy preached patience, their patience payed off as the Giants scored 7 runs in the first 3 innings providing all the scoring they would need to take the series against Atlanta.

Bochy had this to say about his club, “More than anything they just did a good job of being patient, and putting the ball in play there early.”

The Giants were coming off a big offensive game the night before in which they scored 6 runs and the momentum continued on Sunday as they scored their 7 runs on 6 hits. The Giants did not manage another hit after that but the 7 runs would prove to be all they would need at Johnny Cueto threw 6 innings of 1 run ball with 8 strikeouts.
