Bochy: ‘We’re not used to this, believe me’

SAN FRANCISCO-Friday night after a tough loss to the Twins Giants Manager Bruce Bochy reflected on the season so far.

“It’s frustrating for us because of the success that we’ve had. We’re not used to this believe me.” Bochy said after Moore’s loss. “We’re trying to get this thing going for each other, for the fans, everybody and get back to who we are.”

The Giants win-loss ratio at home is 13-15 (.464) vs 12-23 (.342) away which made the home loss particularly painful for a team well below .500 near the All-star break.

“It’s not a lot of fun to come out here and lose ball games, especially getting shut out here at home our first game back,” said Bochy. “It just takes a good win streak to change everything and get this mojo back.”

The Giants have been searching for their mojo since last July going 55-135 (.407) after they fell from the title of “best team in baseball” with a 57-90 (.633) win-loss. It’s been a long road since their stellar 2016 start but the Giants are looking for a foothold going into the second half of the season.
