Steph forces Dell to jump in Lake Tahoe after winning bet

Stephen Curry spent his weekend stealing the show at the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament featuring nearly 100 of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. Sunday was no different, as Curry stormed up the leaderboard with a four-under 68, the best round of the day. He finished fourth for the tournament, and afterwards cashed in on a bet with his dad Dell, who was also playing during the weekend.

Dell had a rough third day of the weekend, shooting an 88 and dropping to finish the tournament in 43rd place. The father-son duo had a bet that whoever finished lower in the tournament would cap off the day by jumping in the waters of Lake Tahoe. Dell obliged like a good sport and took a dive, in full golf attire. Check out the video below, which includes Justin Timberlake joining in on the festivities as the Currys’ personal hype man.

Steph capped off his day with an eagle on the 18th hole, which solidified his top-five finish.

Former A’s pitcher Mark Mulder won the tournament for the third year in a row, followed by Mardy Fish and Derek Lowe. Curry’s fourth place finish tied a personal best for him in the event. This year marked his fifth time competing. And given the intense rivalry between he and Dell, don’t expect this to be Steph’s last appearance.
