OAKLAND–The Warriors and Wizards were just 20 seconds away from heading to the locker rooms for a halftime break when the benches cleared at Oracle Arena on Friday night.
With the Warriors trailing 64-50 in the first half, Bradley Beal grabbed Draymond Green around his neck and Green immediately grabbed Beal and took him to the floor in a fight that caused both teams’ players to leave the benches.
Green had blocked a shot of Beal’s earlier in the game, and Beal didn’t take kindly to an exchange the players had underneath the Warriors’ hoop.
The players had to be separated on the floor by officials, security guards and members of their own teams, and both Green and Beal were ejected after receiving technical fouls for fighting.

Green later told Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr, “He pushed me,” in reference to what started the fight that resulted in the players’ ejections, and Green was clearly angry as he walked off the floor.
Apparently, Green and Beal weren’t the only players involved in a physical altercation.
