On November 6 before a game against the Miami Heat, Stephen Curry did this.
The incredible shot inspired a viral phenomenon dubbed the #Currychallenge, where fans attempt to recreate Curry’s shot in various public settings. The example below posted on the Instagram of Samuel Grubbs has become the most popular, and controversial example, as a few unsuspecting people are definitely angered by the antics.

Curry commented on the video on Monday, and said that while he thinks the #Currychallenge is creative, he worries about it being disrespectful and potentially harmful if people go overboard.
“I will just say be very mindful of the repercussions of messing with people’s stuff,” he told ESPN. “I do not condone violence. That is the only thing. I do not condone violence.
“It’s very creative. People are obviously having fun, but please be respectful of other people’s property. I don’t want anything to happen to anyone.”
