OAKLAND–Earlier this week, the Nevada Wolfpack took down the Davidson Wildcats 81-68 thanks to a strong second half effort that allowed former Warriors’ coach Eric Musselman’s Wolfpack to pull away.
Why do you care?
Because Steph Curry and JaVale McGee care.
Curry became a household name through his three-point theatrics at Davidson, while McGee played his college ball at Nevada back in the mid 2000s. When the two sides met on Tuesday, Curry and McGee placed a friendly wager on the game.

Needless to say, the Wolfpack were pumped up to help out McGee’s cause.

On Saturday night, Curry emerged postgame with a fanny pack for the first time, completing part one of a three-part series. Though McGee may have preferred to hand-select the fanny pack Curry was wearing, the Warriors’ point guard beat him to it on Saturday nigh thanks to an assist from a security guard.
“This is actually just me being nice, he didn’t even give me this one,” Curry said. “I got this one from Ralph Walker our security good on our way out off the court. I’m kind of feeling it though, it’s nice.”
