Celek Time will be on display for the 49ers versus Jacksonville

SANTA CLARA – Tight end Garrett Celek will be ready to go this Sunday against the Jaguars. Celek injured his knee and ribs in last week’s game against the Titans. Celek is the team’s leading scorer as a receiver, and is the creator of “Celek Time.”

It started as a joke, with the Celek getting chided by his teammates after Celek was highlighted on a national fantasy broadcast.

Then Celek went out and scored a 47-yard touchdown and “Celek Time” was born. Since then, Celek has been very productive. However, with Celek hurting, rookie end George Kittle could get more playing time.

Aaron Lynch, who has been active for the past two games, will be inactive against the Jags, and Ronald Blair III will play instead.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville is hurting at wide receiver. Their top receiver, Marquise Lee, is out with an ankle injury, which means the Jags will highlight rookie free agent Keelan Cole and punt returner Jaydon Mickens.
