OAKLAND – Nick Young might want to set up shop as a fortune teller, because for the second time this year he had a prophetic visitor to his dreams.
This time, it was Snoop Dogg.
“I had a dream tonight, earlier today. You know, Snoop Dogg came in my dream today,” Young said. “That’s why I had the hat on, the blue hoodie for him. He told me to go out there, and represent…you know, West-Side connection.”
Young had a good game, scoring 24 points on nine makes, six of which came from beyond the arc. He also injured his knee, but stayed in the game. After the game Young had his knee was wrapped in an ice pack, but it didn’t appear on the injury report so it doesn’t seem serious.
Fortunately for Young, Snoop tipped him off to the injury as well.
“It was like a East Coast, West Coast beef,” Young said. “Snoop told me it was going to happen. He already visioned it was going to happen, he tried to take me out. But it didn’t work. Five shots couldn’t take me out, like Tupac said.”
This team may be short on available players, but it certainly isn’t short on soundbites.
