Add another ‘L’ to the legend of China Klay.
Klay Thompson is currently enjoying his annual China tour to promote sportswear partner Anta, which outfits his shoes. Last year, Thompson famously missed two dunks during his tour, helping spawn the nickname, ‘China Klay.’
On Tuesday morning, video surfaced of Thompson taking on a challenger in pop-a-shot — and getting crushed. It looks like the girl competing against Thompson nearly doubled the Warriors shooting guard’s score.
We may have found one of the few people with quicker releases than Thompson. The video is just a snippet in the life of China Klay, who seems to be thriving, as seen in the video below.
Thompson helped the Warriors to a second straight NBA Finals victory earlier this month and third title in four years. He is clearly living up the post-championship honeymoon.
