It’s finally here. The oft-rumored about hip-hop collaboration between LeBron James and Kevin Durant surfaced on Friday via Soundcloud. The track entitled “It Ain’t Easy,” produced by Franky Wahoo & Stewbillioaire, features verses from both Durant, and James, recorded sometime during the NBA lockout in 2011.
At the time, James was on the heels of losing in the NBA Finals in his first season with the Miami Heat, while Durant was about to enter his fourth season with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
“I got the money, but that’s the root of all evil. I stayed the same, but it’s changing all the wrong people,” Durant says. “Every hater all the same, I feelin’ like the world is Skip Bayless and I’m LeBron James.”
