When Kevin Durant arrives in New York ahead of the Warriors’ clash vs. the Knicks on Friday, he’ll be welcomed with a billboard imploring him to join the team next season.

According to ESPN, a marketing company has put up a billboard near Madison Square Garden featuring Durant in a road Knicks jersey next to Kristaps Porzingis with the question, “Can you make NY sports great again?” posted to Durant’s Instagram handle, @easymoneysniper. Durant his holding the Larry O’Brien trophy, something the Knicks haven’t hoisted since 1973.

Durant is set to become a free agent next season, and some have predicted that he’s looking to move on from the Warriors. Marcus Thompson said on KNBR a few weeks ago that he believes Durant is in his last season in Golden State. The Knicks are considered a top destination if KD leaves, as they are projected to have enough cap space to offer him a max deal.
