The 49ers provided head coach Kyle Shanahan with a memorable experience for his 39th birthday, when they invited legendary Bay Area rapper and longtime 49ers fan, E-40, to the team facility on Thursday. E-40 sat through team meetings, and had some fun in the locker room, rapping “Tell Me When to Go” with 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin.
Goodwin along with Ronald Blair and Kendrick Bourne posted videos of the visit on Instagram.
Shanahan is a noted hip-hop fan, who has even said that his fandom of Lil Wayne (Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) played a role in naming his son Carter. Lil Wayne sent a care package to Shanahan and his son earlier this year.
