Seemingly every day now there’s a new chapter in the Antonio Brown-to-the-49ers story. The star receiver has made it very clear he is unhappy in Pittsburgh and wants out. Just last week, he FaceTimed with Niners legend Jerry Rice, where Rice revealed that Brown wants to play for the Niners “very badly.”

Turns out, Antonio Brown has been in contact with another former Hall of Fame 49ers receiver, Terrell Owens. On NFL Total Access Friday, Owens went on to say that he has also been in contact with the disgruntled Steelers receiver. Owens said that Brown kept asking about the Bay Area over and over again when the two were discussing possible options for where he would like to play.

“It was nice when I was there,” Owens told Brown. “They have Jimmy there to compliment what you do on the football field.”

Still wanting to know more about playing in the Bay Area, Brown followed up with “But whats the Bay Area like?”

“Well it’s sunny, its shining, they have a great quarterback, management is starting to turn it around and they have a new stadium there,” Owens responded.

Owens also added that Brown is a “smart guy, who is very savvy” and talked about the Niners being located in Silicon Valley. He said “with A.B., business will indeed be booming”

Business will indeed be booming this offseason for John Lynch and the Niners as they chase down that elusive star receiver.
